How I Work

These are a place to start, not a vending machine.

01

Problem Diagnostic

Orientation Sprint · 2–3 weeks

Fixed project fee

"Something's wrong but we can't name it."

You send me the mess — briefs, decks, research, whatever you have. I read everything, talk to the right people, and come back with what's actually going on. You get a named problem and a proposal for what to do about it.

This is the diagnosis, not the treatment. Execution and ongoing support are separate conversations.

02

Provocation

Provocation · 1–2 days

Day or sprint rate

"Somewhere along the way, things got stuck" or "everything we do looks like everyone else"

You bring the brief or the stuck point. I spend a day unpacking it and assessing the question underneath it. You get a document of provocation and possible paths forward.

This is pure thinking applied to existing plans. Not a finished deliverable you can hand to a creative team.

03

Slide Dealer

Creative Handoff · Scoped project

Deliverable-based

"We know what we need built."

You have a brief. I produce the artifact — positioning, creative strategy, campaign architecture. You get a finished, usable thing your team can take and build from.

The brief is the brief. Open-ended exploration and unlimited revision cycles are separate engagements.

04

Embedded Partner

Sidekick Mode · Ongoing

Monthly retainer

"We need someone who gets us and can wear lots of hats"

Usually starts after a sprint or project — you want me to stick around. We set terms for ongoing strategic access. You get a strategist who carries context across projects and quarters. Outside perspective from someone who knows the inside.

Not a full-time employee. The outside view only works because I'm not on payroll.
